Mr. Rosenfeld practices in the area of Bankruptcy, Debtor and Creditor, Business Law, Commercial Law and General Civil Litigation. Currently, the majority of his law practice is focused on representing, advising and assisting Bankruptcy Trustees on various issues in hundreds of different bankruptcy Estates. Mr. Rosenfeld has an active debtor practice and advises creditors and corporate clients regarding pre-bankruptcy, Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy, receivership and litigation matters in federal and state courts. He has substantial experience with managing and litigating numerous adversary proceedings, including avoidance actions, discharge objections, claim priority disputes and many other types of contested matters. Mr. Rosenfeld is also a registered neutral with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution and is currently expanding his bankruptcy mediation practice. Mr. Rosenfeld speaks at seminars on various bankruptcy topics. One recent engagement was a session on Discovery Practices for the American Bankruptcy Institute Consumer Skills Training Seminar. He is also active in the Bankruptcy Sections of the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association, and is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the American Bar Association. Mr. Rosenfeld was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1996 after receiving his J.D. from Georgia State University. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. He received his B.A. from Emory University in 1991. Outside of the office Mr. Rosenfeld enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. |
